The Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aurora has made her appearance, and is less annoying in Once Upon a Time, than I found her to be in Sleeping Beauty the movie. So, because I actually like her character now, I made a necklace inspired by her and her costume. Check out the reference sheet I used here: [link]
Let me explain: The Color Purple: its a mixture of blue and pink, her dress appears to be an indigo and or lilac color, so I strove to match it at my best. Aurora from the Disney movie, has violet colored eyes. Also, the name Aurora means Dawn and dawn has shades of purples, blues, and pinks. Her Dress is seen tattered and varying lengths so that is what I strove to do with the hanging beads, also, the cape/shawl she wears at different periods, is shown through the off white or cream colored beads.

Wow! Purple is my favorite color and boy howdy does this cover it! That flower pendant is gorgeous!
I don't know if I like Aurora from the tv series. I guess she's just too "damsel in distress," at least compared to the other female characters. In the Disney films, most of the princesses ( at least the early ones) were damsel in distress types, so now this take seems out of place. I don't know, I'm just weird.
Well, as I have said, I never liked her from the disney film. She is my least favorite Princess...but I kind of liked her in the show because she finally showed some gumption. I mean, I really didnt expect her to place a knife at Snow's throat! Disney Princess showdown right there hahahaha. You are so not weird. I for one am glad that she isnt a main character but as I did find some liking for her and the fact that I LOVE the actress who portrays her...she got a necklace.
I am glad that you like the necklace in total. I was rather pleased with the attempt myself. It took me remaking it for me to like it but boy...was it worth it!
I appreciate the comment.
