I battled with my ideas for Emma for quite some time. Then... inspiration struck and I found a Key pendant. When I think of Emma and the Key, I think of her unlocking the curse, the secrets to her past, her inner 'power' and her unlocking herself. So, the key represents all that is Emma really.
The necklace is itself a messy thing. But Emma's life is not neat, its messy and full of chaos.
The theme of the beads, are rocks. Emma has such a hard exterior and has a hard time letting herself be soft, that rocks were the only thing that made sense. I added red beads to symbolize her red jacket, blue beads to match the 'show's colors', gold beads to symbolize her favor still owed to Gold, brown beads to match her personality of dependability and the fact that everything about her is natural.
Basically, to reach the inner Emma, you must unlock her exterior of rock first. ;)

I like this now, three weeks later, because I gave up trying to change it. :D

Unfortunately, I have simpler tastes when it comes to jewelry and usually wear only one necklace. :D My necklace looks like this, [link] I had to post the picture earlier this year and it just now came in handy again! :D
Anyway, my mom and sister actually wear the jewelry and they get many compliments. My mom is so full of pride over it and so is my sister. She wears this stuff to school and I have ended up making jewelry for her friends. :D I have also sold the occasional piece and they wear it out. So...even though I personally do not wear them, other people more than make up for it. Hahaha. But I thank you for the kind compliment. :D

I do hope that you note me one day but dont feel as though you have to. As of right now, the Emma necklace is not going anywhere. :D You have been the only one to show interest so far. So though I can not say with assurance that I can set it aside for you, I can assure you that it might just be here when you note me next. :D
